What is the Partners for Parks Foundation?
Partners for Parks is a non-profit 501(c)3 corporation which means that any contributions made to the organization are tax deductible. It is managed by an eight member board of volunteers that work and/or live in the greater Lisle community.
What do we do?
The foundation's purpose is to raise money through corporate and private contributions and in-kind donations. These funds are used for enriching the quality of life in the greater Lisle community by offering scholarships for families who otherwise could not afford to participate in recreation programs, contributing to the beautification of parks and protection of natural resources, supporting and enhancing community programs and promoting recreational opportunities. Funding for projects such as these is not usually appropriated from tax dollars.
